Mara enjoys the freedom and creative flexibility of freelance work from her home base in Asheville, North Carolina, where she grew up. She loves working the land on her homestead with her husband, Adam, and three young children.

When she’s not working, Mara can be found practicing (and teaching) yoga, sitting with her chickens, watching murder mysteries, and sipping on a latte or two.
